CogniVue Corporation and Future Electronics Announce CV2101 Video Event Recorder ASSP

CogniVue Corporation, an innovator in programmable Image Cognition Processors (ICPs) enabling real-time embedded image and video analytics applications in emerging markets such as automotive smart cameras, internet protocol (IP) video surveillance, and mobile consumer devices, and Future Electronics today announced the CV2101, a high performance small footprint video event recorder (VER) application specific standard product (ASSP) for use in automotive video cameras and black-box applications
The CV2101 VER highly integrated feature set includes:
-- H.264 video codec operating at D1 resolution (30fps) delivering crystal
clear video images,
-- 2GB MLC NAND flash for recording of up to 12 hours of video,
-- numerous interfaces including image sensor, GPS for geotagging and an
accelerometer I/F for G shock recording
-- small footprint 12x12 mm BGA package
A CV2101 reference design kit (RDK) is also available and includes comprehensive reference software allowing customers to minimize their development time and get to market more quickly
Production volumes of the CV2101 are available now with 10K volume pricing of $19.95
